Coming soon, Ashford listeners will have a new and familiar voice interviewing their guests. Most well known as the voice of the ?Sex and the City,? television promos, Christine Larkin will be joining Ashford?s esteemed team of on-air interviewers in the coming weeks.
Not a follower of, ?Sex and the City?? Don?t worry; one might also recognize Christina?s voice from her other television promos for shows such as Discovery?s, ?American Treasures,? as well as WEtv?s, ?Bridezillaz.? She was also the voice of a teenager for the HGTV show, ?Hammered,? with John and Jimmy DiResta.
Don?t let her television exposure be misleading; Christine is no stranger to the radio. She has lent her voice to numerous radio commercials for Fortunoff, Paradise Jackpot Casino, The Beacon Luxury Condominiums, The New Jersey Clean Energy Program, Cablevision, Revlon and Carnation as well as Snapple, just to name a few. Christine was also a contributor to the NYU Radio student adaptation of J.D. Salinger?s, ?A Perfect Day for Bananafish,? where she provided the voice for the Mother?s character.
Additionally, Christine has contributed to various narration projects. She narrated MTV?s instructional software for their producer?s on-line cue sheet system, which is used to track the music used in television programming. Christine also narrated Club Monaco?s sales representative instructional DVD as well as The Beacon Luxury Condo?s virtual-tour DVD.
