Over the months of March, April, and May, I’m going to lead a group of screenwriters through a 3 part process of preparing to sell their scripts.
In March, you will revise your screenplay.
In April, you will hone and perfect your sales tools.
In May, you will create a unique, strategic plan to sell your script –
and start implementing it.
You can choose to participate in just one part of the process or sign up for the entire trilogy.
Each part will last one month and will include 4 weekly lessons.
All lessons will be held LIVE in exclusive Facebook groups on Tuesdays at 1pm MST (subject to change). If you can’t make the live sessions, the replays will be available immediately after and you’ll have access to them for 3 months.

Over 4 sessions in March, we are going to go a real time journey of prepping your script to go out.
You will be guided through the revision process so that you are confident that your script is in the best shape possible.

PART 2: SALES TOOLS THAT WORK
Over 4 sessions in April, you will guided through the process of preparing your sales tools, namely your logline, synopsis and pitch.
You will learn how to craft these effectively so that people actually want to read your script.
You will have the opportunity to share your 3 minute pitch and get feedback on it from me and other members of our group.
The importance of getting these tools right cannot be underestimated – if they aren’t up to scratch, it doesn’t matter how awesome your script is, no one is going to want to read it.
This is a unique opportunity to make sure that your tools are as sharp and shiny as they can possibly be, before you start contacting people about your script.
Think of them as the bait on your fish hook – if you don’t get these right, you’ll never catch the fish!
PART 3: SELL YOUR SCRIPT
This is when the rubber hits the road!
Now that your script is ready and you have sharply honed sales tools, it’s time to go out with your script!
Over 4 sessions in May, I will guide you through the process of creating a unique and smartly strategic plan for selling your script.
You’re going to learn who to target, how to target them, the secrets of effective query letters, how to connect with managers and so much more.
These four sessions will totally shift your perception of what is possible and how to make the magic happen.
If you are serious about selling your script, this month will be a game changer.
A message from me...
When I finished my very first screenplay, I was a Scottish yoga teacher living in Barcelona, Spain.
I didn’t know anyone in the US film industry and I certainly didn’t have an agent or manager.
All I had was my script and an unshakeable faith that it would make a great film.
I sold it within a year of completing it to a highly reputable LA producer with more than 20 features to his credit.
That sale opened a door for me, and months later I was hired by John McTiernan, the legendary director of DIE HARD and PREDATOR, to rewrite a script for him.
Fast forward two more years, and I wrote and directed my first feature, Obselidia, which premiered at Sundance and won two awards.
To be clear: NONE of this would have been possible without making that first sale.
If you have a script that you believe in, there is nothing to stop you from selling it.
I don’t care where you live, who you know (or don’t know) or whether you have representation…
Don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
